This project is located on a prominent place of Uttara. Sector-4 is the heart of Uttara model Town as it holds the famous and important business centers and branches of famous shops. As in a model town the small plot has the characteristics of a typical urban residential plot with residence on three sides and a front road. As the plot does not contain any special topographical features or views around it, it was obvious for the design of this plot to create something to enjoy within the plot. The building was designed as a upright one to create more wide spaces around it as setback. As the building is south faced it is challenge to allow the air and restrict the sun together. The staggering form in front makes the building self shaded. Round shaped beam was inserted as shading devices. Human vision is circulated as circle, the idea behind the circular shape was when someone passes the apartment he or she will not only see some standing walls but something that plays with the perspective of human vision and the greens will bring a softness to it. The entry landscape blends with the road and footpath. The landscaped roof will be a wonderful place for passing time or BBQ parties as well, it will also reduce the heat that comes from op roof. In summery the design is just a little relieved place in a very rustic urban fabric.
